Here are things we can predict:
For all but sports, out of about 40 results, we have a yield of 25 correct guesses.
Sometimes the stake (being the amount bet or invested) is up to 15 times the daily bet, but it never gets worse than that, and we don't do a Martingale (which is doubling up to eventually win the bet).
As for yield per day on all but sports, we get about 1%, which doesn't sound much but with leverage (say 1 to 100) it's 100% a day, and of course compounding daily is very profitable in just a few weeks of trading. And of course, doubling our stake 10 times in a row yields 1000x profit.
As for sports, we get a yield of between 25% and 70% per game. A higher yield doesn't indicate a profit, however. Sports has the unique property in prediction domains in that the odds are baked in - the bookie knows the odds. Which isn't the case with other investments, where nobody knows. So sports is definitely to be wary of.
One issue we have is sometimes we can predict tomorrow's price going up or down, but not how much. But that is just a matter of finding the right financial instrument to do this.
